India, Denmark for clean development mechanism approve

New Delhi, May 9 : The Union Cabinet today gave its approval for signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and Denmark for cooperation in the field of Clean Development Mechanism Projects.
This agreement would provide an institutional mechanism between India and Denmark for the promotion of Kyoto Protocol Clean Development Mechanism projects.
This will facilitate exchange of information between the Designated National Authorities of India and Denmark to facilitate Clean Development Projects.
