Primary school location important in UK home-buyer book

Homes that sit near the best performing primary schools in England can cost more than similar properties elsewhere.
UK research has found that £19,500 can be the approximate difference in price if a house is close to a primary school with a high Sats pass rate.
The biggest premiums have been seen in Yorkshire and Humberside where primary school catchment areas are relatively small.
A child is given a primary scholl position in the UK based on the proximity of an applicant's home to the school. Email this story to a friend
