Lloyds tells staff jobs will go

The Lloyds Banking Group in Buckinghamshire in the UK has informed 570 staff they will have to go.
Lloyds has confirmed it will move many of its insurance and pensions linked jobs to Edinburgh and Bristol.
The insurance firm, Equitable Life, is also ending its contract with Lloyds, to transfer positions to Indian firm HCL.
Equitable Life staff will suffer more than 200 job losses.
Earlier this month Lloyds announced that 5,000 jobs would go in 2010, on top of the 10,000 already cut. Email this story to a friend
