FRANKFURT, July 30 (Xinhua) -- German shares lost on Friday, with the benchmark DAX index down 96.08 points, or 0.61 percent, to close at 15,544.39 points.
Renal dialysis equipment supplier Fresenius Medical lost the most among the blue chips, down by 4.53 percent, followed by European health care company Fresenius SE and Deutsche Post, which lost 3.93 percent and 2.11 percent respectively.
Multinational chemical firm Linde, European multinational online food-delivery service Delivery Hero and pharmaceutical company Merck were the top three winners, rising 2.54 percent, 0.96 percent and 0.23 percent respectively.
Linde was the most traded share of the day with a turnover of 334.24 million euros (396.44 million U.S. dollars).
China's Haier, a leading global household appliances manufacturer listed in Frankfurt in 2018, rose by 0.53 percent to close at 1.631 euros per share on Friday.
